The ASIS Victoria Australia Chapter currently has 114 financial members. We want to build this up to 150+ in 2015 which means current members need to renew and help us recruit new members who would benefit from membership.

The issue of work-related violence remains a major concern for employers and employees with some sectors disclosing inceased rates of violence. The revised 2014 Guide entitled "Preventing and responding to work-related violence" is timely and will assist organisations address this common issue.

Our Chair, Dr Tony Zalewski presented at a criminology conference in Hong Kong yesterday. His presentation included information about the growth of the Australian Security Industry and how risk management has become an important part of growth and entering new markets.
