International Women's Day Afternoon Tea Speaker #1

Our first speaker for International Women's Day Afternoon Tea is Carla Coslovich

Carla has worked with Crown Melbourne since November 2020, where she took the position of Senior Security Operations Manager. 12 months later, she was appointed the Director of Security, managing a workforce of approximately 300 staff.

Prior to her time at Crown, Carla was the Security Operations Manager  (AFL) for five years. Her last year in footy found her relocated to Queensland, leading the COVID compliance project and managing the three quarantine hubs, successfully clearing over 1200 people through quarantine, followed by working across the first ever Finals series exclusively played outside of Victoria. As part of the founding security team, Carla established the AFL’s spectator banning notice, offender management program and developed the venue security and emergency management guidelines.

Carla started her career with Victoria Police, she served as a sworn officer for 16 years, reaching the rank of senior sergeant. Throughout her career, she worked as a prosecutor, undertook secondments at the Drug Squad and was the Officer in Charge of the Victoria Police Media Unit, leading a team of 30 sworn and unsworn media officers.
