Authorised Officers and the Ongoing Challenge

The Victoria Australia Chapter is pleased to invite you to this outstanding event - Authorised Officers and the Ongoing Challenge

Thursday 12 June 2014 at 5:30pm – 7:30pm

 Transport Authorised Officers are employed by public transport operators to protect against revenue leakage; to provide the highest standards of safety, customer service and information; and to provide a presence of authority to mitigate disorder during special events.

TAOs also implement public guidance in high traffic areas as well as implementing emergency procedures and customer assistance in the case of planned and unplanned disruptions.

 Content of the presentations will include:

  • ·         Role of the Metro Authorised Officer
  • ·         The challenges faced by Authorised Officers
  • ·         Future directions for the Authorised Officers role
  • ·         A tour of the Metro Incident Control Centre

 Questions and discussion on completion of the sessions are most welcome.

 Our Chapter Chair will also update you on recent developments and our exciting future directions. Please book early as places are limited and this event is filling fast.
